The piecing together of individual squares to make a picture or pattern is always a unique and intriguing process. Ceramic, porcelain or terracotta tiles are painted with glazes and then re-fired for durability. Stone tiles are painted with a water-based paint and then sealed with a special stone sealer for protection. My custom tiles grace many homes whose owners appreciate and respect this ancient art form.
